Meetups are free, unless other wise noted, and open to the public.

End-of-the-Year Island Excursion with Carolina Ocean Studies

Saturday May 18th | 9:30-1:30 | Carolina Beach to Masonboro Island 

Community Meet-ups

YOU're invited to celebrate the end of our academic year aboard a memorable boating adventure with Carolina Ocean Studies!

 

Program activities may include

(dependent on tidal conditions):

  • Squid dissection

  • Investigating the salt marsh

  • Beach scavenger hunt

  • Catching crabs on handlines

  • On-deck interpretation of findings

  • History of the area

 

Tickets are $49.44 per passenger.

Ages 5+ only (C.O.S. safety protocol)

At least one parent/grownup chaperone is required.
