Nature Connect End-of-Year Campout!
When: Saturday May 18, 2019. Day or Overnight options available.
Where: Carolina Beach State Park
What: An end-of-year celebration and campout. Nature Connect facilitators will lead casual group activities which may include: matchless fire making, animal tracking, storytelling, day and/ or night hike, wood carving, basket weaving, natural pigments, songs and more!
We are SO excited to invite you to our first Nature Connect End-of-Year Campout! Join NC facilitators and families for a fun experience in the woods. We have reserved Group Site 1 at Carolina Beach State Park for the night of May 18th. There is a $30/family suggested donation for camping and $10/family suggested donation to join for the daytime activities. Please fill out the registration form if you plan to attend either the day or overnight options. Space is limited at the group camp site to the first 25 people. If the group camp site fills up, please join us during the day Saturday or Sunday or consider camping at an individual campsite near us. Please reserve your spot and keep us updated if your plans change.
The camp site is primitive. There is a drop toilet (outhouse) on site. The site is located about 400 yards from the parking lot, and we will have a several garden carts to help transport gear. We will have a cooking area and hand washing area set up. See below for a recommended gear list.

This is a family camping trip and while facilitators will provide support and lead activities, adults are responsible for their children.
