Tuesday/Friday Preschool (Ages 2.5-4)
Play is the work of the preschool age child. At Nature Connect we foster a child’s sense of wonder and play through games, songs and stories. Each day has a theme that explores the natural world through movement, play and curiosity. Crafts using materials found in the woods help to develop fine motor skills and an appreciation for our natural resources. Children are also introduced to plant, animal, and bird, identification through stories and direct observation. We lay the foundation for healthy risk-taking by helping preschoolers explore their physical and problem-solving abilities. Check out our tadpoles blog here.

Forest Families is a great introduction to Nature Connect for young children, and a fun way for parents and other guardians to get involved! A typical day at Forest Families includes a short wander around the farm or through the forest, a picnic snack, stories, songs, crafts or games, and more!
